About the Role we are looking for an experienced Shift Foreman to oversee and lead mining operations during a designated shift at our clients underground mining site in the Democratic Republic of the Congo The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe efficient and productive mining operations while leading and supervising a team of miners and support staff Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead a team of miners operators and support staff during your shift Ensure all mining activities are conducted in compliance with health safety and environmental regulations Manage daily operations to meet production targets while ensuring high standards of safety quality and efficiency Conduct pre shift meetings inspections and safety checks to ensure readiness for operations Monitor performance provide on the job training and address any issues or concerns during the shift Report on shift activities production performance and safety incidents to the Mine Manager or Senior Management Maintain accurate records of production personnel performance and any issues that arise during the shift Implement and enforce site specific policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations and minimize risks Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in underground mining with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role Strong understanding of mining processes safety practices and operational protocols Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team in a challenging environment Excellent communication and problem solving skills Ability to interpret mine plans schedules and other technical documentation Knowledge of mining equipment operations and troubleshooting High regard for safety quality and operational efficiency
