About the Role we are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Mine Foreman to join our clients operations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo This key leadership role is responsible for supervising underground mining activities ensuring production targets are met safely efficiently and in accordance with mine plans and regulatory standards Key Responsibilities Supervise day to day underground mining activities including drilling blasting loading haulage and ground support Monitor crew performance enforce safety standards and ensure adherence to operational procedures Coordinate with engineers maintenance teams and shift supervisors to execute production schedules Conduct pre shift meetings inspections and hazard assessments Maintain accurate records of production incidents equipment usage and personnel performance Provide on the job training and mentorship to mining crews promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement Report directly to the Mine Superintendent or Underground Manager with operational feedback and recommendations Requirements Minimum 7 to 10 years of underground mining experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role Recognized qualification in mining or mine operations Mine Foreman Certificate or equivalent Strong leadership communication and problem solving skills In depth knowledge of underground mining methods equipment and safety regulations Proven ability to manage teams in a multicultural and remote environment
